Vicky O'Farrell and Stuart Butcher leap out of a plane for a breast cancer charity
We came, we flew, we landed, and with a huge thanks to all of you we hit target and raised over £1,200 and with the gift aid added, nearly £1,500 for Breast Cancer Campaign, even making it on their Top 10 fundraisers page on just giving.
Stu had a camera man join him - so when you have 10 minutes at lunchtime - watch the link below (please excuse the one swear word - but was a little scary).
It really was a truly amazing adrenalin rush - even if the nerves got to us a little before hand. At 12,000 ft the doors open, and then travel at 120mph for 7,000 ft - that's less than a minute - shute opens and for the next 5 minutes take in the views (they were just out of this world). We even travelled through a cloud, something that I can't even describe, although it didn't taste of candy floss so slightly disappointed :(
Again, a huge thank you to all of you, every penny counts for this truly amazing cause and also meant a lot to me and Stu.

Changing the Lexicon: an introduction to Crepuscular Contracting, 'While You Were Sleeping' WiFM event review
If the group of more than 50 facilities professionals gathered at London Television Centre on 8 September hadn't heard the term 'crepuscular' before they arrived, it was tripping off their tongues by the end of the evening.
Crepuscular Contracting is a new way to refer to small works, specialist works done out of hours, and weekend working – all of which are a big headache for FM to deal with, said Vicky O'Farrell from Ranne Creative Interiors. Cost, scheduling work, lack of supervision and health and safety, are only some of the issues to be attended to, and O'Farrell had the Women in FM audience nodding in agreement when she described situations where work was left unfinished, done to a poor standard, or accidents occurred because basic health and safety had been ignored.
Ranne sponsored Debbie Artingstall of Aviva Investors on her recent cycle ride for charity - Exhall Grange School. Here's what she said:
Thank you all so much for your sponsorship for my London to Cambridge bike ride on Sunday. We managed the 60 miles in 4 hours 10 minutes which was a very creditable time (or at least I think it was!) and I raised £1,205 to which I hope to add £1,000 in matched sponsorship from Aviva Investors. I'd particularly like to thank CB Richard Ellis, Harbour & Jones, Broadgate Estates and Ranne who were all very generous in their sponsorship.
Again, thank you all much – Exhall Grange School will very much appreciate your generosity.
Debbie Artingstall, Aviva Investors
